Meta2
Meta2 is a cool tool that works using command line arguments. So, if you have something like Paint open and you want to customize it, all you need to do is type in meta2 paint from the CMD. This will apply a skin to Paint's border without adding any reflection.
Customize Your Windows with Meta2
If you're feeling fancy, you can use wildcard naming. This means you only have to enter part of the window's name, and Meta2 will automatically find the right window for you! Pretty neat, right? There’s also a special file called UseSkin that Meta2 looks for when it runs. Just make sure this file is in the Meta2 folder.
Using Skins in Meta2
You’ll notice that there’s a folder named \skins\ inside your Meta2 directory. This is where all your skins should go, each in its own folder. To pick a skin, just change the top line of your UseSkin file to the name of the skin you want. Then run a Meta2 command, and boom! You’ve got a new look. However, keep in mind that once you've set a skin on a window, there isn't an option to change it again.
No Window Name? No Problem!
If you forget to specify which window you want Meta2 to look for, don't worry! It will automatically start up Notepad for you. That's handy if you're just testing things out.
