Menuffy makes using your apps a lot easier! You know how menus are usually stuck in the top-left corner? Well, sometimes it can be a hassle to move your mouse all the way over there. Menuffy helps solve that problem by letting you open an app's menu right where your cursor is! How cool is that?
So, how does it work? All you need to do is launch Menuffy and then switch to another application. With the default shortcut (⌘⌃M), the app's menu pops up right at your mouse pointer's location. It looks just like the regular menu, but it's vertical instead of horizontal, making it super easy to navigate!
If you've got a large monitor or just want to avoid moving your mouse around too much, this app can really help you stay focused. Less movement means more productivity, right?
You probably already know that most apps have a search option in their help menus. The great news is that when you use Menuffy to open the menu, that search feature is still there! Just click on “search menu” and start typing to filter through all those options.
The default shortcut might not suit everyone’s style, but don't worry—you can change it! Menuffy lets you pick any key with any combination of modifiers. Just make sure nothing conflicts with other shortcuts you already use.
While Menuffy isn’t going to change the way we use our Macs forever, it's definitely a handy tool in certain situations. Anything that helps us work better is always welcome, plus it's totally free and open-source!
