Memory Clean is a handy little tool that helps you manage your Mac's memory. Whenever you're done using an app that hogs a lot of your resources, it’s smart to clear out your Mac’s memory. This way, you can get everything back to normal quickly.
This app lives in your status bar and gives you a quick look at how much RAM you're using. It even shows a colorful graph that breaks down the current memory stats in an easy-to-read way. With just one click of your mouse, you can free up some memory and keep your Mac running smoothly.
By default, Memory Clean shows how much free memory you have right on the status bar icon. If you give it a click, a separate window pops up to show more details like active, wired, inactive, free, and used memory—all the info you need at a glance!
If you're ready to optimize your Mac’s memory usage, just hit the “Clean Memory” button at the bottom of the main window. You can also access similar info by right-clicking on the Memory Clean icon in the status bar. From there, it’s super easy to tweak settings like text style and size or set refresh intervals.
If you'd rather not think about it too much, enable the “Auto Clean” feature! This will kick off cleaning when your free memory dips below a certain level. Just keep in mind that while it works its magic, your computer might slow down for a bit.
If you're after a simple macOS app to help free up some RAM and monitor how well it's doing without cluttering up your desktop space, then Memory Clean is definitely worth checking out!
