Simple and Effective Encryption

MELGO has a clean and minimalistic design. It’s made to help users encrypt files stored on their computer using a strong and fast algorithm. But just a heads up: the buttons don’t come with explanations, and there’s not much documentation available. So, you might need to spend a little time figuring things out. User-Friendly File Access

The app makes it easy to see what files are in its own directory right from the main window. It reads all the content on your computer, which is super helpful! Even though it might not be super intuitive at first glance, navigating through your folders using the arrow button isn't too hard.

Supports Various Document Types

MELGO works with different types of documents like DOC and TXT files. Once you find the file you want to encrypt (using that nifty navigation we talked about), just click the locker-shaped button and choose how long you want your encryption key to be—up to 768 bits!

Quick Encryption Process

Your file gets encrypted almost instantly! After encryption, its content becomes unreadable. You’ll also notice that the icon representing encrypted files changes to show which ones are locked in that folder.

Decrypting Your Files

If you need to decrypt a file later on, just follow those same steps but in reverse order.

Room for Improvement

MELGO definitely has potential! However, some missing features could make it easier for users. For example, it doesn’t support drag-and-drop functionality or include a built-in file browser for selecting documents easily. Because of this, some folks may want to look into other options.
