Wiping Options

The main window shows details like name, path, size, and type for each item. When it comes to wiping options, Master Shredder works with NTFS file streams as well as compressed and encrypted files. Plus, it wipes file names by default—though you can turn that off if you want. You also get to choose how securely you want to erase files: from 1 pass (the quickest but least secure) to Gutmann's 35 passes (super slow but highly secure).

No Issues Encountered

The app might take some time depending on how big the files are and what settings you use. But don’t worry! We didn’t run into any problems during our tests; it never hung up or crashed on us. It runs smoothly without using too much CPU or RAM.
