What is Mars Calendar?

Mars Calendar is pretty cool! It kicks off by setting Januaria 1 BCM as the winter solstice on Mars. This way, it lines up the start of the Martian year (1 ADM) with January 1, 1 AD from our Earth-based Gregorian Calendar. So, when you think about it, it's like we're syncing our calendars across planets!

How the Months Work

Now, here’s something interesting: March (which is actually Mars in Latin) becomes the first month of the year, just like it was back in Roman times. And guess what? September, October, November, and December are now the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th months of the year! Their names match perfectly with their order.
