Convenient Features of Impress Pro

Besides the text stamping options, Impress Pro makes it super easy to set up document info fields. You can adjust settings like the default index, base URL, open defaults, and security—all at once! And don’t worry; these settings stay put unless you change them. You can print your documents with an impression without making any permanent changes (but remember, you need to install Impress Pro first).

Text Impressions and Customization

You have options for how your text impressions appear: they can be watermarks that go behind all existing text and images or placed above for headers and footers. You can also play around with variables for page numbering, total page counts, and date/time formats. Oh, and if you're using Acrobat 5.0 or later, you get to use transparency features too!

Key Features of Mapsoft Impress Pro

• Text: This is where you enter the marking text for your pages. You can even include special fields for things like page numbers and timestamps that will automatically update when you impress your PDF file.


• Alignment: Choose how your impression aligns—Left, Center, or Right.


• Name: Give your impression a name! You can easily select from previous impressions you've made or samples provided by Impress.


• Position: Control where on the page the impression goes—both horizontally and vertically—and set its angle as well.


• Layer: Decide if the text shows in front of or behind other content on the page.


• Font: Pick any font from your system for your impression! The latest version even lets you make it invisible or outlined so watermarks aren’t hidden.


• Colour: Set colors using pre-set options or customize them with RGB or CMYK selections.


• Transparency: Adjust how see-through your overlay text is so that content beneath it remains visible!


• Page Range: Specify which pages to mark with this impression.


• Page Spread: Tailor which spreads within those pages get marked—odd pages only? Even? Your choice!
