MAPFool is a nifty little tool that helps you prep your map files before you dive into Hammer 4.0. You know how sometimes working in Hammer can feel like a lot of extra work? Well, this app is here to make your life easier by cutting down the rework you have to do!
The process is super straightforward. First, you launch MAPFool and open up your map file. Then, just run a few upgrades on it and save the updated file. Once that's done, open up Hammer 4.0 and import your newly modified map file. Easy peasy! You'll notice you've got way less rework ahead of you.
Just a heads-up: your map needs to be in the MAP format. This means it should be a structured text file with the .map extension. MAPFool won't read any Hammer .rtf files, so if you're stuck with those, you'll need to load them into an older version of Hammer first and export them as .map files before using MAPFool.
If you're ready to simplify your mapping experience, download MAPFool here. It's a great way to save time and effort while working on your projects!
