What Does MacMIDIt2mf Do?
The first part, mf2t, takes a regular MIDI file (format 0 or 1) and turns it into a compact ASCII version. This makes it really easy to read and work with.

The second part is called t2mf. Think of it as the buddy of mf2t. It takes that text representation we just created and flips it back into a MIDI file!
