MacAppStuff Spoof

MacAppStuff Spoof is a handy tool for changing your MAC address on OS X Snow Leopard. It's super easy to use, so you won't need to be a tech whiz to figure it out!

What Does It Do?

This software helps you change the MAC address of your network interface. Just keep in mind that it doesn't change the MAC address for AirPort, and it might not work with all adapters out there.

Select Your Interface

When you open the app, you'll see a drop-down list where you can select your network interface. Usually, the first one listed is your Ethernet connection, so no worries if you're not sure which one to pick!

See Your Information

The app will show info related to that interface, like your IP address and MAC address. If you want to refresh this information, just hit the "Refresh" button.

Change Your MAC Address

To enter a new MAC address, just type it in the "New MAC" box. You can also choose a manufacturer prefix from another drop-down or click the "Random" button for a completely new address!

Setting It Up

Once you're ready, click on the "Set" button to make that change happen! If needed, you'll have to enter your admin username and password before it takes effect.

A Quick Heads-Up!

Your internet connection might get interrupted while it's changing the MAC address. Don't worry though; after about 10 seconds, everything will update with the new info.

Reverting Changes

If you want to go back to your original (real) MAC address, simply reboot your computer!

Autostart Feature

You can add this app to your log-in items so that it starts automatically when you boot up or restart your Mac. This makes it super easy to set a new MAC address every time you use your computer.

Get Suggestions

The app can even suggest a new MAC address whenever you launch it! How cool is that?
