Description
Lock State
Lock State provides information at a glance regarding the state of the Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock keys, notifying you about any changes, so as to prevent accidental pressing of these keys.
Designed with simplicity in mind, Lock State is delivered inside a lightweight package, with very little impact on the system resources. It runs in the system tray only, so there is no standard interface to deal with. Configuring the application is done via the right-click menu.
Features:
- Simple and lightweight design
- System tray integration
- Configurable color schemes for key states
- Sound alerts for key state changes
- Remember key states for next launch
How It Works:
Each of the aforementioned keys is assigned a button (N for Num Lock, C for Caps Lock, S for Scroll Lock), and the state is revealed by the button's color. The color scheme is fully customizable, allowing you to set it according to your preferences.
Benefits:
- Prevent accidental key presses
- Efficient system resource usage
- Customizable color schemes
- Easy configuration via right-click menu
Lock State does its job flawlessly without affecting the host system. It displays the state of the Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock keys using custom color schemes in the lower right corner of the screen, near the system tray.
While some improvements might enhance its value, Lock State remains a handy tool that helps you avoid accidental key presses of Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock keys.
