Localise is a free OS X application designed just for developers who need to make their applications usable in different languages. It's super handy and easy to use!

How Localise Works

You can use Localise on different types of files, whether they are single files, a bunch of files in a folder, or even within an Xcode project. It really gives you the flexibility you need.

Creating Documents for Translators

One cool feature is that Localise creates documents that you can send directly to translators. This makes the whole process smoother and helps ensure everything gets translated accurately.

User-Friendly Interface

The app has three panels that help you decide what kind of work you want to do:

• Localizable text extraction: Works with .strings or .plist files.


• Texts panel: Here, you can analyze text, manage your dictionary, translate content, and copy text as needed.


• Localized nib/xib files generation: Perfect for generating those essential interface files.

Selecting Your Work Mode

Localise has three modes that let you choose how to apply your work:

• (Files): Apply changes to a single file.


• (Folder): Apply changes to all files inside a specified folder.
