LoanCalc is a straightforward application that helps you figure out loan calculations. It gives you a clear idea of how much you’ll repay to the bank when you borrow money. Pretty handy, right?

Easy to Use on Windows

This tool is made especially for computers running Windows 8, 8.1, and 10, particularly those with touch screens. It features a Metro UI with a dark theme and white text, making it easy on the eyes for late-night calculations. Just keep in mind that LoanCalc doesn’t offer a light theme.

Quick Setup and Input

You can get started by downloading it from the Windows Store with just one click! Once it’s installed, simply open the app and enter your data: loan amount (in dollars), term (years or months), and interest rate (percentage).

Real-Time Calculations

The cool part? Calculations happen in real-time as you type! You can see results right away on the right side of the calculator: monthly payment amount, total interest paid, and overall amount paid.

Limited Features but Functional

There aren’t many extra options with this program regarding functionality. However, if you want to share your results, you can use Windows built-in features to take a screenshot and share it with other Modern UI apps.

Stability Issues

Now for some not-so-great news—during our tests on Windows 10, LoanCalc kept crashing. It worked fine at first but became unstable after we tried entering numbers in the calculator. So just be aware of that if you're considering using it! Also, the only currency supported is the dollar.

A Simple Solution with Room for Improvement

Overall, LoanCalc aims to help users understand loans better through its simple calculator. But we can't ignore the stability problems we faced during our review—it definitely needs more work!
