The LIFXstyle app is super handy for controlling your LIFX WiFi-enabled bulbs right from your Mac. You can connect these cool bulbs to your local network and control them remotely using your smartphone or this easy-to-use app.
When you first open LIFXstyle, it automatically scans your network to find all the available LIFX bulbs. Once it does that, you'll see a complete list in the main window. From there, you can quickly turn all of them on or off without breaking a sweat!
Just a heads up! For LIFXstyle to detect the bulbs, make sure you've connected them to your WiFi using the companion mobile app before diving in.
LIFXstyle makes life even easier with its status bar menulet. This little feature lets you control the bulbs or change presets without needing to go into the main controller window every time. Talk about convenience!
Inside the LIFXstyle controller window, you can tweak the brightness and whiteness of each bulb. Plus, if you find a setting you love, you can save it as a preset for later use. If you're in a hurry, assign some hotkeys for quick access!
The best part? LIFXstyle can schedule actions! You can set it up to turn lights on or off at specific times, adjust brightness or color, listen for noise triggers, and even launch your favorite presets automatically.
Just remember: if you're planning to use the scheduling feature, your computer needs to be running all the time. No worries if that works for you!
If you're using LIFX bulbs around your house, LIFXstyle gives you tons of control over their settings. Create presets and activate them quickly with keyboard shortcuts or make custom schedules that let you kick back while everything runs smoothly.
