Libidn

This library comes packed with a generic Stringprep implementation. It includes profiles for Nameprep, iSCSI, SASL, XMPP, and Kerberos V5. Plus, it supports Punycode and ASCII Compatible Encoding (ACE) through IDNA. Pretty cool, right?
Validation Tables Made Easy
Libidn has a neat feature that lets you set up Top-Level Domain (TLD) specific validation tables. You can even compare strings against those tables! And don't worry; there are default tables for some TLDs already included.
