LDraw
LDraw is a cool open standard for LEGO CAD programs that lets you create awesome virtual LEGO models and scenes. It’s perfect for documenting the models you've built in real life, just like how LEGO does it! You can even make building instructions, render super realistic 3D images of your models, and guess what? You can animate them too!

The fun doesn’t stop there! With LDraw, the sky's the limit. Unlike real LEGO bricks where you're stuck with a limited number of parts and colors, LDraw lets your imagination run wild. Want to build something that’s never been seen before? Go for it!
How to Get Started with LDraw
Getting started is easy! Here are some quick steps:
- Double-click the archive to automatically extract everything using Stuffit.
- Copy the LDRAW folder to /Users/yourname/Library/ldraw or
- Copy the LDRAW folder to /Library/ldraw (you'll need admin permissions for this).
Important Note!
NOTE: This package only contains the core library for LDraw. To actually use it, you’ll need to download and install a Second Generation Editor.
