Once you launch LaunchIt, an icon appears in the system tray, and a small frame pops up at the top center of your screen. Clicking that opens the launchpad where you can add multiple files and folders for quick access.
You have the option to strip down the launchpad’s look by removing icons for a cleaner appearance. Plus, if you'd like, you can make that top-center frame always stay on top of maximized or fullscreen windows!
You can also assign any local image as the background for your launchpad and choose whether to show or hide descriptions. Want it to start automatically when you turn on your computer? No problem! Just integrate it into Windows’ autostart sequence.
In our tests, LaunchIt had a minimal impact on computer performance, using very little CPU and RAM. It stayed stable throughout its use without causing crashes or errors—pretty impressive!
To sum it all up, LaunchIt takes a straightforward approach to help you create lists of frequently accessed files and folders for quick openings from its launchpad. It's unfortunate that it hasn't received updates in quite some time.
