Lab Partners is a free tool that helps teachers easily organize students for group work. It has two main options: Random Partners and Lab Partners by Grades. Let’s dive into how these features can make your life easier!

Random Partners Feature

With the Random Partners option, you can quickly load a list of students from your class. Want to create random groups? No problem! You can make groups of two, three, four, or even five students and print them out right away. If some students are absent, you can remove them from the list or add new ones without any hassle. Plus, you have the ability to save and load student lists whenever you need.

Partners by Grades Feature

The second cool feature is called Partners by Grades. This lets you upload both a student list and their grades for a class. You can then easily drag and drop students into up to eight different groups. And guess what? As you create these groups, Lab Partners will automatically calculate the average grades for each group. Once you're done organizing, printing out your final groups is just a click away!

Exporting Student Lists Made Easy

If you've got student lists in programs like Making the Grade or Excel, no worries! You can export those directly into Lab Partners. The tool includes step-by-step directions on how to do this smoothly.
