KtoBlzCheck is a handy tool that helps you check various types of data over the Internet, including bank accounts. All you really need is the right app and some permissions to perform these lookups. This library can be used from a command line interface or even in custom programs to check account numbers and bank codes for German banks.
So, there are a couple of ways to use this application. One way is through the command line interface. First off, you'll need to compile and install the library. It's best to follow the documentation provided for Windows setup. A good tool for this is MinGW.
If you prefer, you can also use a Microsoft Visual Studio C++ compiler. They also provide prerequisites for Python, but make sure you have the ctypes module ready.
This library already has a database filled with various codes that you can check out. You can easily verify pairs of account numbers and bank codes at once! It allows checks for both KTO and BLZ, which stand for account number and bank identification code in German.
The built-in scripts let you connect to an online bank database to find updated codes and even download the latest items. Just remember, you'll need an active Internet connection to grab all that banking info!
If you're looking to use this library in your custom program, don’t forget to include ktoblzcheck.h. You'll want to use AccountNumberCheck and IbanCheck methods too!
