What is kradview FOR LINUX?

kradview

kradview is a handy tool for checking out images from different sources like X-rays, NMR, and all kinds of DICOM-compatible devices. It aims to be your go-to platform for medical imaging and image processing. Sounds cool, right?

About the Development

This software was created while I was working on my Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Carlos Renato Zacharias from IBILCE-UNESP in Brazil and Prof. Dr. Antonio Falcó Montesinos from Universidad Cardenal Herrera-SEU in Spain. They were super helpful throughout the process!

Early Stage Features

Keep in mind that kradview is still in its early stages. This means new features might pop up suddenly as I continue developing it, or some might disappear if there are bugs to fix! If you run into any errors, please check out the latest version first; if the problem persists, feel free to reach out so I can tackle it.

What's New?

What's New in this release? Here are some fixes:

  • No more crashing on unsupported or non-DICOM files!

  • A gcc 4.3 issue has been fixed.

  • The code has been cleaned up for better performance.
