Kookie Jar

Kookie Jar is a super handy tool that makes it easy to create and generate an endless number of email signatures (.SGN files) for your email and news clients. It’s got a user-friendly interface that anyone can navigate without breaking a sweat!

Easy Setup

The setup process is quick and straightforward, featuring familiar options that most people will recognize. However, just a heads-up: the fullscreen installer has this funky gradient background, which kind of shows that Kookie Jar hasn’t been updated in a while.

Simple Layout

Once you open Kookie Jar, you’ll notice its clean layout and simple design. You can create new signatures by adjusting various settings like the project title, description, plain text, RTF, HTML format, taglines, templates, text wrapping mode, and even audio CD format strings!

Edit Anytime

You can always go back and edit these properties later on. Plus, it lets you copy taglines and signatures or even add new ones. Editing templates for each format is also super easy! There’s a basic search tool to help you find specific taglines too. You can set new tagline definitions by picking how they appear (like random or sequential), whether they should be single or multiple lines, and other cool details.

Customizable Features

If you want more control over your experience with Kookie Jar, there’s a timer feature you can turn on or off as needed. You can check out your signature in plain text, RTF or HTML formats. Want to quickly whip up a report with all your signatures? No problem!

User Preferences

When it comes to general preferences, Kookie Jar allows you to minimize it to the system tray so it won’t clutter your desktop. You can also set it to run at Windows startup unless you change this later on. Other neat options include disabling message confirmations on exit and hiding warning dialogs.

Smooth Performance

In our tests, Kookie Jar worked like a charm! It didn’t cause any hangs or crashes on our OS. Plus, CPU and RAM usage stayed nice and low during use! But here’s the bummer: since Kookie Jar hasn’t had updates for some time now and isn’t in active development anymore.
