Description
Klib
Klib is a handy little tool that connects to your Kindle or Amazon account, letting you pull out all those notes and highlights you've made while reading. It’s super cool because it lets you browse through everything right on your Mac, or even send it all over to your Evernote account.
How Klib Works
When you first fire up Klib, it asks how you want to grab your data. You can either plug in your Kindle device via USB or let the app sync wirelessly by connecting to your Amazon account. If you go the wireless route, just a heads up—you’ll need to subscribe to “Klib Extensions” to manage the Amazon import.
Easy Data Access
Once you've got everything set up, Klib displays all your notes and highlights right in its main window. Plus, if you're looking for something specific, there's a built-in search tool that makes finding passages quick and easy!
Organize Your Reading
Klib organizes books into two groups: ones you're currently reading and ones you've finished. And if you want a clean view of just your highlights and notes, you can hide the sidebar! This keeps the window focused on what matters most—your content.
Read with Ease
The best part? Klib works hand in hand with the Kindle for Mac app! That means when you click on a highlight or note in Klib, it takes you right back to that spot in the book. Perfect for when you want to dive deeper into a section!
Edit & Backup Your Notes
You can edit almost anything within Klib too! The goal here is simple: make managing your Kindle highlights and notes easy-peasy. You can review content, search for specific entries, jump back into books instantly in Kindle for Mac, and more.
Backup Options
Your data doesn’t just sit there; Klib allows you to back it up as a .db file. Or if you're an Evernote fan (who isn't?), just authorize the app and send everything straight there!
If you're ready to take control of your reading notes with ease, check out Klib. It's designed for readers like us!
