KCeasy

KCeasy is a cool front end for the giFT filesharing system. What’s awesome about it is that with plugins, it can support all kinds of filesharing networks, making it super versatile for users.

Supported Networks

Right now, KCeasy supports these networks:

• Gnutella: This includes Shareaza, Gnucleus, LimeWire, Bearshare, and XoloX.


• OpenFT: A fresh network developed by the giFT project.

What’s New in This Release?

So you might be wondering what’s new in the latest version of KCeasy? Here’s a quick rundown:

• It now ignores duplicate and inclusive share roots (thanks to giFT).


• A simple IRC chat client has been added for easy communication.


• You can filter your library to find what you need faster.


• No more annoying message boxes during silent installs!


• Added meta data columns in your library for better organization.


• You can now select multiple transfers at once—no more one-by-one!


• The main window position will save so you can pick up right where you left off.


• Searching across different networks just got easier!


• An Ares plugin has been included too.


• You even get magnet support for Ares (though it’s not super useful right now since Ares doesn’t return file names and sizes on hash searches).


• Icons have been added for Ares and unknown networks to make things clearer.


• The Italian and French translations have been updated, plus there’s now a Finnish translation available!
