Johnshope FTP & Folder Sync is a handy tool that helps you sync your FTP services with the local folders you usually use. Installing it is pretty simple, and once it's done, you won't need to worry about it too much. The cool part? It doesn’t have a fancy interface; you’ll run it through the Command Line.
After you install the software, you'll find two different executable files: sync35 and sync4. Each one is meant for specific Windows versions. So, if you're using Windows 7, go for sync35. On the other hand, if you're on Windows 8, then sync4 is your friend.
The tool can handle both local paths and FTP or FTPS links. When using those links, just remember they should be formatted with parameter values and separated by an '&' symbol. Also, make sure to set an integer value to limit how many connections can happen at once; that’s how it works best!
If you're new to this kind of software or just want to know more about what it can do, there’s a handy Manual included in the installation folder. Don’t hesitate to check it out! It’s there to help guide you through everything.
This tool is really great for anyone looking to streamline their file syncing process without a lot of hassle.
