jHeidi is a cool java-based tool that works alongside HeidiSQL, which is a well-known graphical interface for MySQL. If you're not using Windows, don't worry! jHeidi aims to make HeidiSQL's features available for platforms like Linux and Mac OS X. It also offers some of the same great functionalities for Windows users.

Please note that there may be some minor issues with syntax coloring in the query window when handling multiline comments. Also, older versions of MySQL might not have compatibility hooks yet. Right-click menus are still a work in progress too!
