Iso2God is a handy app made just for one thing: converting Xbox 360 ISO image files into GOD (Games on Demand) container files. What this means is that you can create GOD files that work perfectly with the Xbox 360 SDK. Pretty neat, right?
Now, here’s something important to know: Iso2God isn’t a native OS X app. It’s actually a wrapper that has been set up to run on Macs using Wine and Wineskin. So, while it does its job of converting ISO files to GOD, you might notice some quirks in the interface. Just a heads-up!
You’ll be glad to hear that Iso2God doesn’t stop at just converting ISO files to GOD. It also supports XSF and GDF/XDVDFS ISO file formats! That gives you more options when working with your game files.
Don’t worry about getting lost in the interface; once you get past its “Windows feel,” it’s pretty straightforward to use. Just hit the “Add ISO” button, pick your image location and where you want the output file saved using the “Browse” functions. You’ll also need to choose a temporary spot for the rebuilt ISO at the bottom of the window before clicking “Add ISO.” Easy peasy!
After adding your ISO file, it will show up in the app’s main window list. Now all you have to do is click the “Convert” button located at the top toolbar of the app. Keep in mind that how long this takes will depend on how big your ISO file is; expect it might take around ten minutes or so for Iso2God to finish converting.
In summary, Iso2God is an easy-to-use tool for anyone looking to convert their Xbox 360 games from ISO format into GOD format. And since it's currently one of the few apps out there that can do this—and now available on OS X—it's definitely worth checking out!
