The IntelliTrace collector is a standalone tool that you can use to collect IntelliTrace data from apps that are running on Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 or IIS 7.5. You can configure the collector to collect detailed debug information from a running app without modifying it.
By using the IntelliTrace debugging features in Visual Studio, you can then analyze this data to determine the behavior of the app.
