Now, while having those stats is great, it would be even better if they were shown in a more user-friendly way. Honestly, doing mental math to turn minutes into hours isn’t exactly fun! A simple format change could make this app even cooler.

A bit of a bummer is that you can’t remove Instant’s Dock icon. It doesn’t do much since all the app's features are accessible from the menu bar icon. But hey, at least it’s not cluttering up your desktop too much!

Standby Mode Tracking

The app also keeps tabs on how often your Mac goes into standby mode. When that happens, the time counter automatically pauses—pretty neat! But here’s the catch: you can't manually pause the counter yourself. So if you're taking a break and forget to put your Mac in standby mode, those precious minutes will keep ticking away.

Daily Usage Limits and Notifications

If you're trying to limit your screen time (which is always a good idea), Instant lets you set a daily usage limit. You’ll get notified once you hit that limit! However, if for some reason you want to turn this feature off? Well, there’s no easy way to do that unless you set an unrealistically high limit.

To sum it all up, Instant is a straightforward OS X app that serves its purpose well. It does have some design quirks and lacks certain features we wish it had, but it's still a solid tool for tracking computer usage!
