The layout is modern and super easy to learn. On the left side, there's a category tree, while the right side shows a list of records. At the bottom, you'll get a detailed view of whatever record you've selected. And guess what? All the necessary files come in one small folder that you can easily copy onto an external pen drive and use on any computer!

Getting Started with iFreeBudget

When you fire up the app for the first time, it asks you to log in. If you're returning, just pop in your credentials and you're good to go! But if you're new here, no worries! You'll just need to create a profile.

A simple wizard will guide you through choosing a username, password (between 6-12 characters), where to keep your database, and which language and currency you'd like to use.

Create Accounts and Transactions

From the menu, you can easily create new accounts or transactions. Oh, and if you've got records in OFX or QFX formats? You can import those too!

The category tree has four main groups: income, assets, expenses, and liabilities. Each group has relevant categories that you can customize as per your needs. When adding new transactions like income or expenses, you'll pick what type it is—plus details like amount and date—oh, and don't forget notes or attachments like documents or images!

Managing Budgets Like a Pro

The app lets you add budgets too! You can choose between monthly or daily budgets by selecting accounts like books or rent. It automatically calculates totals for you—how handy is that?

If you're ever in a hurry looking for something specific? The search bar at the top makes finding items quick and easy! Plus, there are various reports available based on criteria such as earnings or cash flow.
