What is IECapture?

IECapture

IECapture is a handy tool that works with the Retriever Download Manager. It helps you capture downloads straight from Internet Explorer (version 4.0 or higher, Windows only). How cool is that?

How to Set Up IECapture

The setup process is super simple! When you install it, IECapture automatically connects with Retriever to grab downloads from Internet Explorer. If you want to tweak this a bit, just run IECapture.jar. You can also find IECapture in Retriever’s “Plugin” menu.

Select Your Settings

When you open it up, you'll see two options: Enable or Disable. Choose what you need and hit “OK.” Easy peasy!

Important Note on Internet Explorer

Before making any changes, make sure to close all open Internet Explorer windows. This step is key for your settings to take effect.

Error Alert!

If you're trying to capture the URL of a web page (like text), be aware that it will throw an error when you try to download it. Keep this in mind while using the tool!

Go to the Softpas website, press the 'Downloads' button, and pick the app you want to download and install—easy and fast!
