ICSviewer is a neat little app that helps you turn your exported calendar files (.ics) into a clear, table-formatted data grid. It even calculates the hours you’ve worked!
Getting started with ICSviewer is super easy. You can load an .ics file by dragging and dropping it right onto the grid or by clicking on Open... in the File menu. Once you drop your file in, it processes important tags like DTSTART, DTEND, SUMMARY, and DESCRIPTION.
The app splits your start and end times into two columns, making it really simple to see how many hours you've worked. Plus, it rounds the hours to whole and half-hour increments for ease of use.
If you want to narrow down what you see, just pick from-to dates at the top of your screen. This way, you can focus on specific time frames!
You have control over which columns are visible! Just check or uncheck the boxes next to each column name. Also, if you're dealing with half hours, there’s a handy pop-up menu where you can set how you'd like those decimals displayed. The cool part? The app automatically updates everything after each change you make.
If you've played around with the settings and want to grab all that info from your grid, just click inside it and hit CMD-A to select everything. Then use CMD-C to copy! It’s that simple!
