Icon Plus is a super cool tool that lets you create your own custom icon designs using your photos or images. What’s awesome about Icon Plus is that it can whip up icon collections in all the sizes you need for building apps on iOS or macOS.

Create Your Own Icons Easily

When you open up Icon Plus, you’ll see a neat user interface where you can check out your icon design before finalizing it. The adjustments are super easy to make with just three tabs: design, icon, and text. Editing is as simple as checking boxes, moving sliders around, or tweaking text fields, and you can see all the changes happen right away!

Customize Your Icon's Look

First things first, decide how you want your icon to look overall. You’ll need to pick whether you want a transparent background, choose your gradient colors, set the corner curves, and decide if you'd like to add strokes or shadows.

Select Your Image

The next step? Pick the image for your icon! You can also adjust its position by setting vertical or horizontal offsets, rotating it, or even playing with shadow effects.

Add Text for Extra Flair

If you're thinking of adding some text along with your photo, most of those options will apply here too! You can customize everything from font styles to effects.

Save Your Work for Later

The best part? Icon Plus lets you save all your settings as a profile. This means you can easily recreate similar icons later without redoing all the work every time!

Create iOS and macOS Icon Sets

Once you're happy with how everything looks, just hop over to the Output tab in Icon Plus. Here, you can choose whether to create an iOS or macOS icon set. You even have the option to pick specific sizes for each icon and select output formats like PNG, JPG, TIFF, GIF, or BMP—plus tweak the image quality if you're going with JPG!

A Handy Tool for Beginners

This tool is really handy for those who are new to graphic design. Just keep in mind that while it offers good customization options, there are still areas where it could improve. For example, being able to add more than one text string at once would be a great addition!
