I Weight What???

I Weight What??? is a super fun and easy app that lets you find out how much you, your friends, or even your pets weigh on other planets and the sun! Sounds cool, right? It works by using the different gravitational pulls of each planet since our mass (how much matter we have) stays the same no matter where we are.

How It Works

This app is designed for Windows 8, 8.1, and 10. You can easily download it from the Store. Once you have it installed, you'll see a simple layout featuring planets like Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, and of course, our sun!

Easy to Use!

Using this app is a breeze! Just type in your weight—no need to click any buttons. The app does all the calculations automatically as you type. For example, if you weigh 50 kg on Earth:

• You’d weigh about 1,353.6 kg on the sun!


• On Venus? That’s around 45.35 kg.


• And on Jupiter? You’d be a hefty 118.2 kg!


• Uranus would show up as 44.5 kg.


• If you're curious about Pluto? That's only about 3.35 kg.


• On Mercury? You'd weigh around 18.9 kg.


• Mars comes in at about 18.85 kg.


• Saturn weighs in at around 45.8 kg.


• Finally, Neptune shows up as about 56.25 Kg.

Screenshots & Sharing

The app doesn’t let you copy or print data directly but don’t worry! You can take a screenshot of what you see after entering your weight and share it with friends via email or save it on your computer using Windows’ share charm.

A Few Limitations

A couple of things to keep in mind: the numpad isn’t supported for entering weights which can be annoying. Also, it only uses the metric system—so if you're used to pounds instead of kilograms you'll need another way to convert before using this app.

All in all, I Weight What??? might not be super practical for everyday use but it's definitely an interesting tool if you want to know how much you'd weigh on other planets based on their gravity!
