Hosts Switcher is a handy tool that lets you easily switch between different Hosts files. This makes it super simple to apply TCP/IP settings for your link mappings. Plus, it runs quietly in the system tray!

This application comes in two little files, which you can move to any folder on your computer or even pop onto a USB flash drive. That way, you can run Hosts Switcher on any machine without a hitch.

.NET Framework Requirement

Just a heads up, you'll need the .NET Framework installed since that's what this tool was built with. The good news? It doesn’t mess with your system registry or create extra files on your disk. All your settings are remembered when you close it!

User-Friendly Interface

When Hosts Switcher is up and running, it puts an icon right in your system tray. If you close it, no worries—it stays there until you're ready to use it again. You can only exit the program through the right-click menu or from its main window.

Easily Manage Your Hosts Files

The main panel has a clean and simple design where you can see the default Hosts file listed. You can open this file in your favorite text editor to make changes, duplicate it for new Hosts files after editing TCP/IP properties, check it out in Windows Explorer, or even delete it if needed.

Create as Many Files as You Need!

You can create as many Hosts files as you like! Just click once to make any entry active. You can view and choose all entries from a handy submenu when you right-click the tray icon. It even shows log details!

Smooth Performance

Although Hosts Switcher hasn’t seen updates in a while and is still in beta mode, we found that it worked really well during our tests—no freezing or crashing at all! It uses very little CPU and RAM too, so your computer won't slow down while using it.
