Homerow is a cool app that lets you navigate your computer just by typing! That’s right—no need for a mouse. Instead, you can use a search bar that works like Spotlight, making it super easy to find what you need in any app.

How Does Homerow Work?

To get started with Homerow, just press Cmd+Shift+Space. This opens the search bar where you can type the name of any UI element. Once you’ve found what you're looking for, hit Enter to click on it. Need to right-click? Just use Shift+Enter. For Cmd-click, it’s Cmd+Enter.

Navigating with Ease

If your search doesn’t give an exact match or if there are several options, don’t worry! You can easily cycle through them using the arrow keys. If you want more specific results, hold down Shift and type the label it generated.

Customize Your Experience

If you're using this feature a lot, you have the option to turn off the search function completely. This way, when you hit the hotkey, all visible UI elements will show up without needing to type anything.

Easily Find UI Elements

Sometimes it can be tricky to know what to search for. If that happens, just hover over an element with your cursor or hit ? while it's highlighted to see its title.

Compatibility Information

This app works well with most native applications and lots of popular software that runs on non-native code too. However, some apps like Firefox and Spotify may have minor issues—they’re turned off by default.
