Highbrow is a cool tool for your Mac that helps it remember the browser you want to use. Normally, if your Mac is set to Safari, it will always open links in Safari. But with Highbrow, you can change that!
Instead of going into Safari's preferences every time you want to switch browsers, Highbrow makes it super easy. You can tell your Mac to remember whichever browser you’re using. So whether you're into Chrome, Firefox, or any other browser, Highbrow has got your back!
If you prefer to decide on the fly, Highbrow can also ask you which browser to use whenever you click on a link. This means no more getting stuck with just one option! Just click on the link and pick your favorite browser.
Sometimes it's nice to have control right at your fingertips. With Highbrow hanging out in your menu bar, picking a browser is a breeze. Just select the one you want from the menu bar and boom! Your Mac will open all links in that browser.
When you click on the Highbrow icon in your menu bar, you'll see three different options listed under "Behavior." Each one lets you customize how you'd like to switch between browsers:
This way, no matter how you like to work, Highbrow adapts to fit your style!
The best part? Once you've got Highbrow set up, opening links becomes so much smoother. If you're bouncing between browsers like Safari and Firefox, just switch them as needed! For example, if you're using Safari but want to check something in Firefox first—you just do it! And when you're ready for Safari again? No problem; it remembers!
If you're ready for an easier browsing experience on your Mac, check out Highbrow.
