HandBrake is thought to be one of the best video converters out there, but with one little problem: it can't convert more than one file at a time. To fix this problem, HandBrakeBatch comes to your aid and enables you to convert more files at the same time by using any HandBrake preset settings.

HandBrakeBatch has a very simple and straightforward graphic user interface with its main window organized in two main areas: in the left side of the window you can view the list of files that have been imported for processing, while on the right side of the panel you can select the HandBrake preset you want to employ via a simple drop down menu. The next step is to choose the output folder for the converted files.

To start converting files, users must go through four simple actions: drag and drop the files you want to process on top of the app's main window, and then choose a preset from the HandBrake Preset pop-up menu. All that's left to do is to specify the destination of the output folder and then simply click the Start button.

HandBrakeBatch offers support for many types of files just like its relative, HandBrake: QuickTime files, H.264 formats, .VOB files found in the VIDEO_TS folders, .mkv formats from Blu-ray disks. Note that HandBrakeBatch can also convert mounted DVDs directly into video files.

At the same time, HandBrakeBatch can scan the available subtitles and preserve only the ones that match your preferred language: open the Preferences window to define the preferred language for the subtitle file or for the audio track. During the file import process, HandBrakBatch will not check if the file formats are supported: during the conversion process, the unsupported video files will simply be ignored.

HandBrakeBatch carries the torch further for the HandBrake app and it proved to be a very useful app to have around for users who want to be more productive by converting a larger amount of video files in a shorter amount of time.
