What is GuideGuide FOR MAC?
GuideGuide
GuideGuide is a super handy tool that started as a simple script. It helps you draw guide lines right in the middle of your document. Sounds cool, right?
How GuideGuide Came to Be
So, the story goes that the developer got pretty tired of his old way of doing things. Before GuideGuide, he had to select everything, transform it, and then drag guides to find the midpoint. That just took too much time! And that's when GuideGuide became a thing.
Add Guides in One Click!
The original script was awesome because it could add guides to the middle of your document with just one click. You’ve got three options: horizontal middle, vertical middle, or both at once! Just click on the icon for whichever guide you need, and bam! The guide appears right there in your document.
Troubleshooting on 64-Bit Systems
Just a little heads up—if you're using a 64-bit system and can't see GuideGuide in Photoshop, make sure you installed it in the version you've launched. Sometimes Photoshop gets installed in two places by default!
Easy Installation Steps
Installing GuideGuide is super simple:
1. Unzip the downloaded archive.
2. Copy everything into the Panels folder located at /Applications/Adobe Photoshop/Plug-Ins/Panels/.
