GrowlLog is a handy free plugin for your Mac's notification system called Growl. What it does is pretty cool—it saves all your notifications as an XML file wherever you want, or you can send them straight to the console. It's a great way to keep track of everything that's happening on your Mac!
Getting started with GrowlLog is super easy! First, you'll want to unzip the downloaded archive. After that, just double-click the Log.growlView file to install it. That’s it! You’re ready to go!
If you run into any issues and it doesn’t seem to work for you, don’t worry—there’s a simple fix! Just delete the plugin. You can find it in this path: ~/Library/Application Support/Growl/PlugIns
. Once you've done that, restart Growl and see if it works.
If you're still having trouble, you might need to do a bit more cleanup. Try deleting this file: ~/Library/Preferences/com.Growl.GrowlHelperApp.plist
. This should help get everything back on track!
If you're ready to give GrowlLog a try, head over and grab it now! It’s a fantastic tool that helps keep your notifications organized.
