Gridy is a super handy software that sets up an invisible grid on your screen. What’s cool about it is that when you resize or move a window, it will snap right into place on this grid!

How Gridy Works

You can control the snapping by just dragging your mouse around or even using the keyboard arrows. Plus, there are other neat options and settings you can play with.

No Fuss Setup

The best part? You don’t need to go through a long setup process! Just save the program files wherever you like on your hard drive and double-click the .exe file to launch Gridy. You can also pop it onto a pen drive or any storage device so you can use it on any PC without hassle—no extra installers needed! And guess what? It won’t mess with your Windows registry at all.

Quick Access

Once you launch Gridy, it puts an icon in the taskbar notifications area for easy access. A little message pops up to show it's ready to go!

User-Friendly Features

If you double-click that icon, a panel opens up showing all the commands available in this app along with their hotkeys. You can snap moved or resized windows to the grid, turn off snapping if you'd like, or even minimize all windows except for the one you're currently using. There are more options too—like adjusting transparency, toggling the Alt+Tab icon, or keeping the active window always on top!

Customize Your Experience

You have control over things like grid size and edge behavior (whether to ignore, block, or shrink). You can also pick which modifier key you want to use (Win, Ctrl, Shift, or Alt) and disable any of these keys if they get in your way. Plus, choose preset keys between numbers or function keys for added convenience.

Performance Check

No worries about performance here! In our tests, Gridy didn’t slow down our machines at all—it used very little CPU and memory. It never caused freezes, crashes, or error messages.
