Island Rides has initiated the Green CarShare program. The project encourages the elimination of carbon emissions and provides access to electric vehicle use. The CarShare program has been made possible through a grant from the Washington Department of Transportation Zero-Emissions Access Program (ZAP).
Green CarShare provides access to charging stations and electric vehicles for members to reserve and drive.
Members must be over the age of 21, with a valid driver’s license, insurance and a good driving history. If you meet the eligibility requirements and want to schedule a test drive, contact us at [email protected].
Electric vehicles are shared across users who reserve times to use the cars.
