Description
grandfatherclock project is a clock that tolls time acoustically.
The default configuration emulates a grandfather clock with Westminster chimes.
Cuckoo clock and Close Encounters of the Third Kind files are included.
Requirements:
Conventional Installation:
1. Expand the package contents in an empty directory.
> cd /opt
> tar -zcvf
> mv grandfatherclock-1.0.0 grandfatherclock
2. Install the man pages.
> cd grandfatherclock
> gzip doc/grandfatherclock.6
> ln -s $(pwd)/doc/grandfatherclock.6.gz /usr/man/man6
3. Install the binary
> ln -s $(pwd)/bin/grandfatherclock /usr/bin
4. Install the configuration
> mkdir /etc/grandfatherclock
> cp $(pwd)/etc/grandfatherclockrc /etc/grandfatherclock
