GPG Verify is a free and super easy tool that helps you check signed files using GPG. It runs with a simple AppleScript that you have to activate manually.
This handy tool works alongside the 'gpg' command line binary, which you probably already have set up and ready to go. Basically, it gives you a user-friendly way to validate those signed files that come with detached signatures.
You can easily access GPG Verify from the Script Menu, and it will act on whatever file you have selected in Finder. If you've got just one file selected, the script will look for its matching signed file or detached signature based on the name of the file. Pretty cool, right?
If you want to use GPG Verify anytime without any fuss, you can copy the script to your Finder Scripts Folder. This way, it's right there when you need it!
