GiMeSpace Cam Control is a cool software that lets you control your computer just by waving your hands in front of a webcam. Can you believe that? In the last decade, we've gone from clicking with a mouse to using touch screens and gestures. This app takes that to the next level!
With GiMeSpace Cam Control, you can move the mouse pointer or scroll through pages without even touching anything. It's super easy to set up your camera—just pick your device from a drop-down menu, and you're good to go.
The main window is neat and organized into tabs. This means you can quickly find general options, horizontal and vertical controls, plus zoom functions. While it doesn’t have every action under the sun, it has enough features for most presentations.
You get to choose how each gesture works! For example, you can use hand movements to navigate in both directions or scroll through pages. If you've tried GiMeSpace Free Edition, Desktop Extender, or Ultimate Taskbar, you'll find that there are specific controls for those too.
You might need to play around with some settings like sensitivity sliders or camera options for colors and movement speed. And yes, expect a bit of arm workout! But we found that sometimes the mouse pointer just wouldn't budge unless we finally gave in and touched the mouse.
So, what's the verdict on GiMeSpace Cam Control? It’s pretty easy to set up, and we didn’t run into any errors while using it. However, if you want it to work perfectly, be ready to spend some time waving your hands in different lighting conditions until everything clicks into place.
