GEONExT enables autonomous and cooperative learning of mathematics in the classroom. GEONExT encourages an active discovering approach to mathematical thinking. can be used at school and at home for free. Therefore the software can be handed out to students without any copyright problems.
GEONExT can be used from elementary school up to calculus at high school and in teacher-training at university in a manifold and flexible way. Although it is possible to run GEONExT as a stand-alone program one can also have it embedded in an HTML-based learning environments.
Using GEONExT as a stand-alone program it acts as a tool for creating geometric constructions with a various number of construction tools. Compared to paper based constructions GEONExT constructions can be changed and varied dynamically afterwards.
