FXTrade Ticker

FXTrade Ticker is a handy little widget made for the Yahoo! Widget Engine. It sits right on your desktop, showing you currency exchange rates. You can choose to have these rates update in real-time or just once a day. Pretty cool, right?

Easy-to-Use Interface

The app has a super simple interface that works within a small frame. You can move this frame anywhere on your screen with just your mouse. No complicated setups here!

View Daily Rates

You’ll see the default daily rates displayed along with directional indicators that show whether the currency is going up or down. It's like having a mini financial advisor right on your desktop.

Customization Options

If you want to make it yours, you’ve got options! Head over to the Widget Preferences section where you can set your favorite currency pair, change how often it updates, and even pick different colors and fonts for the text displaying the rates.

Extra Features

You can hide fractional pips if they’re not your thing and show accounts that have zero balance too. Thanks to some great default settings from the Yahoo! Widget Engine, you can also adjust how transparent the frame is—anywhere from 20% to 100%. Plus, there’s an option to keep it on top of other windows so you always have access to those crucial rates.

Smooth Performance

This little widget doesn’t hog your computer's CPU or memory. During our tests, it was responsive and smooth—no crashes or annoying error messages popped up at all! If you're someone who checks currency rates often, FXTrade Ticker is definitely worth trying out.
