FX-602P Simulator is an amazing tool that mimics the classic CASIO FX-602P programmable calculator and all its accessories. If you ever used the original, you'll feel right at home!
This simulator covers all the cool stuff like arithmetic, trigonometric, logarithmic, hyperbolic functions, and even statistics. Plus, it supports all alphanumeric display options just like the real deal.
The math functions are super accurate thanks to a powerful 18 digits BCD floating point library. In fact, its precision is usually better than what you get with Java doubles or even the original FX-602P! Just remember that numbers are rounded to 10 digits before they show up on your screen.
Just like the original calculator, the FX-602P Simulator is completely programmable. It includes all features from indirect addressing to alphanumeric displays.
You’ll love this: the simulator has more memory than the original! You get 999 program steps instead of just 512. Plus, you can choose between 11 and 110 memory registers without losing any program steps when saving your work.
The simulator also brings back memories with its FA-2 cassette interface simulation. Instead of using a cassette tape to save your data (like with the Kansas-City-Standard), everything gets stored safely on your computer’s hard drive or flash memory.
The file format stays true to what was used in the original calculator. With a little help from a program that converts Kansas-City-Standard sound files into standard binary files, you can exchange programs between your old FX-602P and this new simulator!
If you grab Version 2.0 of the simulator, it even simulates an FP-10 thermal printer! You can easily copy and paste printouts into other applications for convenience.
You can also buy any of the mobile versions because they all come with a desktop version included too! For more details or to download, check out Softpas!
