Fuel is a handy graphical user interface that works with the Fossil SCM tool. It makes life easier by helping users handle common tasks without needing to mess around with the command line. The design is super organized, making it simple to manage your files and repositories.

Easy Repository Management

You can easily open or clone a Fossil repository through Fuel's menus. Just point the app to the right directory or enter the URL if it's hosted online or locally. All you need to do is provide your credentials, set up your HTTP proxy if you're using one, and choose where you want the output to go.

Workspace Creation

If Fuel doesn't find a workspace, it will offer to create one for you! Once it's made, you can see it right in the main window of the app. Inside your repository workspace, you can check out all the files included, along with branches, tags, and stashes.

Built-in Web Browser

The app even has a built-in web browser at the bottom of its main window so you can view your Fossil repository! Plus, there are buttons for all those routine tasks like adding files, renaming them, removing files, or even going back to previous versions.

Requirements for Use

Just keep in mind that Fuel is just a GUI front-end for Fossil. You need to have the SCM utility installed on your system first. Don't forget to set up the path to the Fossil binary in Fuel's Preferences window!

Pushing Your Workspace

Once everything's set up correctly, Fuel lets you commit or update your workspace easily. You can push or pull data whenever needed and create branches or tags too! Stashing changes? No problem!
