Fresh is a fantastic app that helps you quickly find files that you've recently created or changed. It’s super handy for keeping your workspace organized!

One cool feature of Fresh is that it hides itself when you’re not using it. This means fewer windows cluttering up your screen, which is always a win!

How Fresh Works

In Fresh, you’ll see two main sections. The top area shows files that are new to you or currently being edited. So if you download a file from the internet, save an email attachment, or edit something in Word, it pops up here.

Managing Your Files

As new files come in, they automatically get added to this section. If there's something in the list that you don’t need anymore, just click on it and hit the delete key. Don’t worry; this only removes it from the list—your actual file stays safe on your disk! To toss a document into the trash, just use 'command - delete' or drag it to the trash can in your dock.

The Cooler Feature

You’ll also notice a section called the 'Cooler' at the bottom. Think of it as a shelf where you can store files for easy access later. It’s like your desktop but with two key differences: first, items in the Cooler can be from anywhere on your computer; second, there’s an 'autoclean' function that automatically clears out items when they sit around for too long.

No More Clutter!

This means you don’t have to stress about cluttering up your Cooler with too many files! Everything shown in Fresh are pointers to those actual files, so if something disappears from the Cooler due to disuse, don't panic—it hasn't really been deleted.
