French Vocab is a handy tool that helps you learn new French words and phrases. It's super easy to use and can really boost your French skills!

How It Works

When you're ready to start, just click on the "Start Test" button. You'll see a French translation pop up randomly from the Maintenance window list. Your job? Choose the right English word or phrase from the drop-down menu. Just hit the down arrow to check out your options!

Your Score Matters

Once you've picked your answer, hit the "My Answer" button. If you're correct, awesome! You score five points, and in just a second, a new translation will show up automatically.

If you get it wrong, don’t sweat it! You'll lose one point, but you'll also see the right answer. Then click on the "Next" button to keep going with your test. There are twenty translations in total.

The Final Score

When you finish, your score will be compared with others in the High Scores section. If you end up with more than zero points and make it into the top ten scores, congratulations! Your name and score will be added to that table.

Edit Your Name

If you want to change your name on the High Scores list, just double-click it, type in your new name, and press "Return." If you ever want to clear out those scores completely, you'll need to confirm that it's what you really want.
